Penelitian ini berdasarkan kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik pada pembelajaran biologi khususnya materi fungi jamur yang dikarenakan pembelajaran cenderung menggunakan model konvensional Untuk mengatasi masalah ini perlu motivasi baru dengan menghadirkan model pembelajaran direct instruction< em> Tujuan penelitian untuk membahas pengaruh model pembelajaran direct instruction < em>berbasis pemecahan masalah < em>terhadap hasil belajar siswa Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA berjumlah 43 peserta didik dengan sampel kelas X IPA 1 adalah kelas eksperimen berjumlah 21 siswa dan kelas X IPA 2 adalah kelas kontrol berjumlah 22 siswa Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest postest control group design < em>Data penelitian menggunakan uji t menunjukkan pengaruh model pembelajaran Direct Instruction< em> dalam pembelajaran materi Fungi Jamur terhadap hasil belajar siswa Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata rata hasil tes akhir pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 85 04 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 76 63 Model pembelajaran Direct Instruction< em> nbsp;< em>berbasis pemecahan masalah berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik < p>
