Public Service Population Administration Village of Rerer

Abstract

This research aims to understand, describe, and analyze the Population Administration Services of the Rerer Village Government, Kombi District, Minahasa Regency. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. This research uses indicators/sub-focus: human resources and infrastructure.
The research results indicate that the administrative services of the Rerer village government in Kombi District are not yet optimal. This is evidenced by several human resources lacking competence in their fields, and some employees tasked with population administration have not undergone competency development training. The population administration services do not have clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), making the population administration activities perceived by the community as still convoluted. There is often no staff or employees available during operational hours at the village office, so when the community wants to take care of their needs, they have to look for the employees at their homes. The lack of complete facilities, such as the absence of population administration books in the village, insufficient benches for the community while waiting for services at the village office, and several parts of the village office building that are damaged and have not yet been repaired.
