Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation on employee work productivity at the Regional Secretariat of South Minahasa Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The sample used consisted of 101 people (respondents) selected based on chance encounters with researchers who could be used as samples, namely by using a random sampling technique (incidental sampling). Data collection techniques in this study are by questionnaire and observation. The method used in this study uses a simple analytical method. Data processing techniques are done manually.

The results showed that there was a significant influence between work motivation (X) on work productivity (Y). And it can be seen from the results of the statistical hypothesis t (partial) test for the variable quality of public services obtained a significant level of 10.936 > 1.660 (t_table) the regression coefficient of (b1) Y = 12.105 is positive, the correlation r = 0.495 the regression equation is obtained Ŷ = 12.105 + 0.522X. The magnitude of the influence of Work Motivation on Employee Work Productivity can be seen from the coefficient of determination r^2 = 0.245. Thus it can be obtained that the influence of community satisfaction is determined by the quality of service by 24.5%, and there is 75.5% that is determined by other factors not examined in this study.
