ANALISIS KEBERSYUKURAN PADA HOMOSEKSUAL DI KOTA TOMOHON

Abstract

This research aims to determine the picture of gratitude among homosexuals in Tomohon City. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The techniques used in collecting this data are interviews, observation and documentation. The research results obtained show that the depiction of gratitude in the two homosexual subjects generally has similarities in the depiction of grateful behavior. Appreciation of one's own abilities greatly influenced both subjects' behavior. In both subjects it was found that they always did good things regardless of their sexual orientation as homosexuals. Both of them think that anyone can do good, regardless of the problems they experience in their respective lives. Within the circle of friendship between the two subjects, good acceptance without discrimination is also shown regarding the situation they are experiencing. A high desire was reflected in both subjects to show that homosexual behavior did not affect their good deeds and careers. The strong spirituality of both subjects also plays an important role as a balancer when conditions become complicated and unexpected events occur.
