Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of group guidance services with problem-solving methods to overcome learning difficulties for students of class X clothing at SMK N 1 Tondano. Giving assignments and not being completed on time, lazy to come to school, lazy to study. The problem studied in this study used a guidance and counseling action research approach (PTBK). The target subjects of this study were four students. The research took place in two cycles; in the first cycle, it was found that the success rate was two students; after reflection, the researcher proceeded to the second stage, namely in the second cycle. The other two students have started to be able to express every opinion even though slowly. The researcher used the method taken by group guidance services in the form of only 1 group. The data collection instrument is the researcher himself with the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The research took place in 2 cycles. The results can be concluded that group guidance services with problem-solving methods can overcome learning difficulties in class X Clothing at SMK N 1 Tondano.
