This study aims to determine and analyze whether there is an effect of using audio visual media on student learning outcomes in class XI Motorcycle Business Engineering at SMKN 1 Airmadidi. This research method uses quantitative with a descriptive study approach. That is a method that is directed at solving problems by describing or describing what the research results are. This study uses purposive sampling or a sample of certain considerations. The sample in this study was class XI TBSM A which amounted to 30 as the experimental class and class XI TBSM B, which amounted to 30 as the control class. The conclusions obtained from this study are: (1) Learning with the use of Audio Visual Media can improve learning outcomes in the subject of Motorcycle Engine Maintenance for class XI TBSM students at SMK Negeri 1 Airmadidi. The results showed that the use of Audio Visual Media had a significant effect on improving the learning outcomes of Motorcycle Engine Maintenance for class XI TBSM students at SMK Negeri 1 Airmadidi. (2) That the learning outcomes of class XI TBSM students at SMK Negeri 1 Airmadidi in learning Motorcycle Engine Maintenance there is a difference in the average of the two groups obtained tcount = 3.876 > ttable = 1.671, indicating that the average student learning outcomes taught by using media Audio Visual is higher than the average student learning outcomes taught using conventional learning. Thus it is concluded that the use of Audio Visual Media has an influence on learning outcomes for Motorcycle Engine Maintenance.
