Abstract

The purpose of this examination is to find out the relationship of social media to the motivation to learn materials science at the Ayamaru State Vocational School. This research is a correlational study. The participants in this examination are students of class X from SMK Negeri Ayamaru, with a total of 30 students. This data is collected by survey. Questionnaire/Questionnaire which is used to measure variables. Social media and student learning motivation. In this data analysis method that will be used is the prerequisite analysis test with normality test and linearity test, and also hypothesis testing. the coefficient of determination has a strongly bound relationship level (r2xy) of 0.281. Based on the results of the analysis, we can see that the variable x to the variable y has a relationship level of rxy: 53%, the remaining 47% are other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between social media and motivation to learn materials science at Ayamaru State Vocational School.
