Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze people's perceptions of ecology in improving tourism objects in Bango Village, Wori District, North Minahasa Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study are using observation and interviews. The results of this study are that people's perceptions in promoting mangrove forest tourism objects are good, it's just that there is a lack of cooperation with various media parties so that good cooperation needs to be built from various groups. Tourist attractions are good, it's just a lack of cooperation between managers, the community and the government. In terms of public perception of knowing and utilizing mangrove forest tourism object resources, it is quite good where people use mangrove forests as an addition to the community's economy, open job vacancies, it's just that people don't pay attention to cleanliness around the beach and lack of awareness of some people to protect and preserve the environment of forest tourism objects. mangroves.
