Thesis. Mechanical Engineering Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Manado State University. The quality of human resources will affect the progress of a nation, so that indirectly education will determine the quality of a nation. To realize this intention, one way is through the teacher's ability to apply learning strategies that are oriented towards increasing the intensity and involvement of students effectively in achieving student success in the process of learning technical drawings. One implementation of the learning model that is considered appropriate for learning technical drawings is the project based learning model. The research objective is the implementation of project based learning learning models on student achievement in technical drawing subjects at SMK Negeri 3 Tondano. The number of samples used was 26 students and then divided into two groups (the experimental group and the control group). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve student achievement in technical drawing subjects at SMK Negeri 3 Tondano, which is expressed as a significance result = 0.000 < alpha = 0.05.
