Students' misconceptions can be obtained through the learning methods used. This research aims to reduce misconceptions of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Manado regarding acid-base solution material using the ECIRR learning model with the help of LKPD media. The type of research used is descriptive research. The sample in this research was all students of class XI IPA 3, totaling 32 people. In this research, the data collection instrument was a multiple choice test with 12 questions along with the reasons according to the acid-base solution material. Data analysis in this research uses validity and reliability tests. From the research results, it was concluded that the percentage of the misconception category was reduced from 28.125% to 8.85%, then the percentage of the understanding category increased from 23.185% to 83.85%, and the percentage of the don't understand category experienced a reduction from 48.69% to 7.3%.
2025-01-05T00:00:00-08:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/general-chemistry/article/view/11101Pengembangan Instrumen Tes Diagnostik Five-Tier untuk Identifikasi Miskonsepsi Siswa pada Materi Asam Basa, Hidrolisis Garam, dan Larutan Penyangga di SMAN 1 Likupang2025-01-15T00:05:49-08:00Nurmala S. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Likupang on class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA II students totaling 70 students. This research method uses the R&D method with the PLOMP model. The results of the validation of the questions by experts obtained a CVI value = 0.99 with the criteria "very suitable". Construct Validity with a person reliability value of 0.83 in the good category, item reliability of 0.77 sufficient criteria and person separation reliability of 3.35 good criteria and sufficient person separation criteria of 2.75. The results of reliability, distinguishing power and level of difficulty show good results. And the results of applying the instrument to each question show the highest student misconception profile in questions number 3, 6 and 8 with a percentage of 70% and the lowest misconception in question number 19 with a percentage of 16.66%. The subconcept that experienced the highest misconception was the theory of acids and bases and the strength of acids and bases, while the lowest subconcept was the concept of buffer solutions and the properties of buffer solutions.
2025-01-14T00:00:00-08:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/general-chemistry/article/view/11163Pengaruh Model Cooperative Project Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Teori Atom2025-02-04T00:50:30-08:00Desnalia Lalenodesnalialaleno@gmail.comJeanne Maria Tuerahjeannetuerah@unima.ac.idSeptiany Ch. The cooperative project-based learning model is learning that integrates project-based learning implemented with cooperative learning strategies. The research conducted was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was conducted in 2 cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were all students of class X-B at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano, with a total of 20 students consisting of 12 female students and 8 male students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and written tests. Cycle I, the percentage of classical mastery of students is 85%. Cycle II the percentage of students' mastery classically becomes 100%. There was an increase in individual learning outcomes, with 17 students who completed learning in cycle I to 20 students who completed learning in cycle II. The results showed that the cooperative learning model based on project learning on atomic theory material improved student learning outcomes.
2025-01-31T00:00:00-08:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/general-chemistry/article/view/11292Penggunaan Problem Based Learning Dengan Bantuan Algoritma Dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Konsep Mol Bagi Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Tondano2025-02-19T23:29:26-08:00Eliezer Gumurueliezergumuru@gmail.comSonny Lumingkewassonnylumingkewas@unima.ac.idFreetje Waworuntufreetjewaworuntu@unima.ac.id
The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an increase in learning outcomes before and after using Problem Based Learning model with the help of an algorithm in solving Mole Concept questions for students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano.
