PERAN TENAGA KERJA PEREMPUAN DALAM BUDAYA BERCOCOK TANAM TANAMAN PADI DI DESA KANEYAN KECAMATAN, TARERAN KABUPATEN MINAHASA SELATAN

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know, describe and analyze how the role of female workers in the culture of rice cultivation. The method used in this research is the qualitative research method, which describes a social phenomenon or an ongoing situation in accordance with the facts seen by the researcher. By using data collection techniques are observation and interviews. The informants in this study were the men and women in kaneyan village. From the results of the research, it was found that the role of the labor force of rice farmers in supporting family life by acting as housewives can also share time in processing rice crops. In addition, economic factors are a driving factor for women to cultivate rice crops in Kaneyan village.
