MANFAAT BANTUAN LANGSUNG TUNAI (BLT) PADA MASYARAKAT TERDAMPAK COVID 19 DI DESA TEEP KECAMATAN LANGOWAN TIMUR KABUPATEN MINAHASA

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the benefits of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in communities affected by Covid19 in Teep Village, East Langowan District, Minahasa Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, using observation, documentation, and interviews as data collection techniques. The subjects in this study were informants who were selected purposively (by having special criteria). The data analysis used was an interactive data analysis technique. The results showed that direct cash assistance was beneficial for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for thoseqq who were victims of layoffs and lost their livelihoods. This direct cash assistance was used to buy basic necessities, namely groceries because it was felt that it was not enough to be used as business capital because it was given in stages, namely 600,000 / month. The community is of the opinion that if it is given as a whole it can be used as capital, but because it is given in stages it is only useful for buying basic kitchen needs. From the results of the research that has been stated, it is hoped that it can be useful for lecturers, students, prospective students, in order to develop education, especially at Manado State University.
