Abstract

The problem in this study is to find out the factors that cause why the people of Lobu village are less and not interested in bamboo music as their traditional local music and this is due to their high interest in modern music. By using qualitative research methods with interview and observation data analysis techniques, the results of the research on Bamboo Music Dynamics in Lobu village are caused by a lack of interest from the Lobu village community towards bamboo music according to the younger generation, music is more desirable because besides being instant it is also in accordance with the atmosphere of the event. they do. The people of Lobu village who like bambu music are only those aged around 50 years and over. The younger generation is not interested because they do not want to learn and feel forgotten so that bamboo music itself is not used to fill events in the village
