Pemberdayaan Pemuda Melalui Kelompok Tani Cabe Oleh Karang Taruna di Desa Makasili Kecamatan Kumelembuai Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan

Abstract

The youth organization in Makasili village has been formed and implemented the program for 3 years. One of the empowerment programs implemented is embracing youth who have dropped out of school to join chili farmer groups. This program is quite successful because the youth involved have jobs that can provide income for them. The organizations that will be investigated in this research are organizations that are in and around the community, namely the Karang Taruna organization in Makasili Village, Kumelembuai District, South Minahasa Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of youth empowerment through chili farmer groups by youth organizations in Makasili Village, Kumelembuai District, South Minahasa Regency. By using qualitative research methods, where the results of this study are the process of implementing youth empowerment through youth organizations in Makasili village, it has a positive impact because through this youth organization young people become more creative and have positive activities to improve their family's economy from being only unemployed. but with a place to accommodate their activities, the youths are very enthusiastic about participating in the empowerment by this youth organization.
