Peran Serta Orang Tua dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Anak di SMP Berea Tondano Kabupaten Minahasa

Abstract

The success of students is also inseparable from the guidance and guidance provided by parents at home. However, the fact is that many parents are unable to provide guidance and guidance, even less attention to their children due to being tied to daily work and also parental education. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to describe the role of parents in increasing the learning motivation of children/students of class VIII SMP Berea Tondano. The method used is a quantitative research method. The findings of this study are parents have a very important role in this case as a motivator for children's education both in the family environment, school environment, and community environment. Parents of students at Barea Tondano Junior High School always support their children's student activities.
