Abstract

Gadjet provides the solution to communication and distance. So that gadjet matter of distance and time is no longer a problem. But it would indirectly make physical meetings between interactions reduced. So are college students who prefer gadjet as communication tools that students in the faculty of social sciences have experienced a shift in interaction patterns.The study is intended to explain how a shift in interpersonal interaction patterns in gadjet use in the industrial age 4.0. To a student at manado state college social studies. The study involves a qualitative method that describes a social phenomenon or current circumstances that reflect the reality observed by researchers. Using field observation data collection techniques and interviews with data analysis techniques. Studies have shown that there has been a shift in interaction patterns in college students at manado state university social studies. College students have a variety of reasons to need in using gadjet, whether to support current college processes, as entertainment media, and so on. Unrestrained use of gadgets causes students to enjoy themselves more time than they do in their social environment. Radiation from gadjet can also damage the eyes even to the point of causing a addicted gadjet.
