The problem in this study is how children's education in the families of capture fishermen in Paleloan Village, South Tondano District, Minahasa Regency. About the level of education of fishermen's children in which there is an effort of parents to send their children to a higher level. This study aims to determine, describe and analyze the education of children in the families of capture fishermen in Paleloan Village, South Tondano District, Minahasa Regency. By using qualitative research methods, the theory used in this research is Alfred Schutz's phenomenological theory. Based on the results of this study, it shows that families of capture fishermen can improve children's education and family economy even though only as capture fishermen. So the conclusion of this research is that education is the most important and basic thing in an effort to improve knowledge.
