Pola Pendidikan pada Anak dalam Struktur Keluarga Petani (Studi Kasus pada Petani di Desa Kamanga Dua Kecamatan Tompaso Kabupaten Minahasa)

Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects of life. This paper aims to see how the pattern of education in children in the structure of farmer families, as for reviewing this paper, researchers use descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection tools through observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study show that the pattern of parental education towards children in farmer families, namely, two families tend to use democratic education patterns, parents give freedom to children to carry out daily activities according to the child's ability. While the other two families tend to use authoritarian education patterns, parents tend to be strict and regulate their children's daily activities. The efforts given by parents to support and reinforce learning achievement to children such as meeting children's needs both physically and mentally, providing motivation, accompanying children in learning activities, helping children when experiencing difficulties in learning
