The purpose of this study is to describe the potential of toraya maelo<br>local wisdom in increasing community income through Ke'te' Kesu' tourist attraction in Kesu'<br>District, North Toraja Regency. The research used qualitative method. The results showed that the<br>potential of toraya maelo local wisdom in Ke'te' Kesu' tourist attraction consists of physical potential<br>and non-physical potential. Physical potential is the potential in the form of real objects such as<br>Toraja traditional houses (tongkonan), rice barns (alang), funeral ceremonies (rante), museums that<br>have items aged tens to hundreds of years, graves or burial places in the form of stone caves and<br>cliffs. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method, the author conducted research at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Manado, with research subjects namely overseas students from several regions studying at FISH Unima. The results of the research on the adaptation process in dealing with intercultural communication of overseas students, namely overseas students must adapt to the campus environment because of the many differences encountered by overseas students while in the campus environment, especially when interacting with friends of different ethnicities and cultures. Therefore, overseas students must be able to adapt and adjust to the situation and conditions in the FISH Unima environment. The way they adapt is by building good relationships with friends despite different backgrounds by not seeing the differences that exist, respecting and appreciating each other and upholding a sense of tolerance. This research aims to find out, describe, analyze the increase in income of pajeko fishermen using qualitative research. The theory used in the research is the theory of Patron-client, James Scrot (1995). The results of this study show that the fishing community is able to work well together between the pajeko owner and the fishermen. Formed the nature of mutual assistance and mutual respect for one another, good working relationships are a form of cooperation for mutual interests as well. Where, social relations between pajeko owners and fishermen in Lalubi Village are formed due to the nature of helping each other. A good relationship is a form of cooperation for mutual benefit, helping and respecting each other in forming a relationship in society. The social capital that exists between pajeko owners and fishermen is based on mutual trust, norms, social networks, and solidarity and because of the interdependence between pajeko owners and fishermen can strengthen cooperation. By using qualitative research methods, the theory used in this research is Alfred Schutz's phenomenological theory. Based on the results of this study, it shows that families of capture fishermen can improve children's education and family economy even though only as capture fishermen. Consumptive lifestyles in the lower Kawangkoan community are increasingly evident, from parents to children also apply consumptive lifestyles. The purpose of this research is so that researchers can be able to describe or describe the consumptive lifestyle of farming communities and can find out what factors cause farming communities to have a consumptive lifestyle or consumptive behavior. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This type of research uses primary data, researchers collect data by means of observation or observation, interviews, recordings and documentation. Based on the results of research in the field that has been done, it can be concluded that consumptive behavior in farmers can be classified, there are several factors that cause consumptive lifestyles and also the habits of post-harvest farming communities. The role of a breadwinner is a woman who does money-making work to meet the needs of family welfare from an economic aspect. Meanwhile, the domestic role is a woman who only carries out domestic activities within her household area to support the fulfillment of her family's welfare needs from non-economic aspects such as; management of daily needs, house cleaning, child education, washing, and others. This non-economic household role supports welfare, especially in fulfilling health and education needs. The results of this study are that the people in Raanan Lama Village rarely use Tontemboan language, so that the existence of Tontemboan language in daily community conversations has begun to change in word patterns. So that the conversation has experienced a mixture of Manado dialect. And the position of Tontemboan language seems to have been number two in daily conversation and is no longer in the main language position in conversation or in community communication in everyday life.
