STUDI KASUS TENTANG KRISIS IDENTITAS GENDER PADA SUBJEK ADOLESCENCE DI KELURAHAN KAROMBASAN UTARA

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see what psychological impacts the subject experiences when experiencing an identity crisis in physical aspects, behavioral aspects, mental & cognitive aspects. The place of implementation of this research is in North Karombasan, neighborhood 8, Wanea District, Manado City, using qualitative research with a case study approach. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. The data source in this research is 1 subject who is experiencing a gender identity crisis, and in research using source triangulation. From the results of the interview it was found that during the gender identity crisis the subject wore women's school clothes when going to school and wore men's clothes when at home, the subject's condition also changed towards men where he began to grow a mustache and his voice became heavy, because of this the subject experienced bullying and made The subject becomes withdrawn, experiences trauma, experiences anxiety, cold sweats and vomits when chatting with other people, and this fear sometimes carries over to dreams, because he is afraid of experiencing something similar again. The subject decides to drop out of school in middle school and avoids other people because he is afraid of being invited. socializing, the subject also finds it difficult to trust other people and when he finds someone he trusts, the individual will experience dependence and find it difficult to separate from that person.
