https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/social-science/article/view/9899

This study aims to examine the development of the Sara Besar Island tourist attraction with a focus on attractions, utilization of nature/environment, the beauty of the beach and underwater, accessibility, and facilities and infrastructure. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The study results indicate that the Sara Besar Island tourist attraction, which has a natural panorama and a stretch of white sandy sea, has great potential to be developed. The community expects the government to be able to manage this tourist attraction well. Beach and underwater tourism must be considered and sustainable so that marine biota do not become extinct. Accessibility to this tourist attraction is good, the entrance road is neatly arranged, and vehicle circulation is safe. Facilities and infrastructure still need to be improved so that its appeal increases.
Riska TaalempunganNixon Jefres SinduaMuhamad Isa RamadhanEllen Eva PoliVidi Feronika Kapoh

https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/social-science/article/view/9902

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of damage to mangrove forests, the causes of damage to mangrove forests, and to find out how the role of the government and society in maintaining and preserving mangrove forests in Kei Besar District, Southeast Maluku Regency. The results showed that the damaged condition of the mangrove forest ecosystem, specifically in Kei Besar sub-district, was already in a critical condition (damaged), where most of the mangrove trees were dead/dry due to frequent felling, resulting in a decrease in numbers. This factor is caused by the low awareness of the people who use mangroves as firewood and ignore the function of mangroves as ecosystems that support the coastal environment and fish shelters and fishing grounds must be far from the coast. The role of the government is considered low and there are no rules in the use and preservation of mangroves in Kei Besar District, Southeast Maluku Regency. Therefore, public awareness and even the role of the sub-district government is needed in dealing with the damage to the mangrove forest ecosystem in Kei Besar on an ongoing basis.
Engelberta RubanGrystin Djein SumilatXaverius Erick LobjaIrfan Rifani

Money laundering through crypto assets in Indonesia is a complex and challenging problem for law enforcement. This study aims to identify the challenges law enforcement faces against money laundering practices that utilize cryptocurrency. The research method used is qualitative analysis with a case study approach and interviews with experts in law and finance. The study results show that although there are regulations governing crypto asset transactions, money laundering practices are still rampant due to the anonymous nature and complexity of blockchain technology. Law enforcement has difficulty in tracking transactions and identifying perpetrators, especially due to the many loopholes in the law. Cooperation between government agencies and law enforcement is needed to improve the effectiveness of supervision and law enforcement against money laundering crimes using cryptocurrency. This study also recommends the need for clearer and more comprehensive regulations regarding the use of cryptocurrency in Indonesia to prevent further misuse.
Engeli Yuliana LumaingChastro PurbaJulian Valentino MogaWanli MetusalachRizky LegiRobin Dakhi

https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/social-science/article/view/10487

This research aims to analyze the strategies employed by geography teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi to enhance students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. A qualitative methodology was utilized, incorporating literature review, observations, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that students respond positively to the strategies implemented by teachers, such as paying attention to the teacher, engaging with the material presented, and demonstrating active participation in learning activities. These strategies contribute to positive student behaviors, including helping peers, effective time management, active engagement in the learning process, achieving good academic results, and striving for success. However, several factors hinder the efforts of teachers to enhance student motivation in geography learning. These factors include individual motives, lack of uniformity in teaching methods, limited media usage, inadequate environmental conditions, insufficient parental attention, and low motivation levels among students. To overcome these barriers, teachers can create a conducive learning environment, intensify interactions with students, employ enjoyable learning traps, and establish a supportive atmosphere for learning.
Juvia Anjel LausanHermon Maurits KarwurIrfan RifaniCahyadi Nugroho

https://ejurnal.unima.ac.id/index.php/social-science/article/view/10845

The dismissal of the President in the Indonesian constitutional system is a complex and crucial issue, especially after the amendment to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This process involves legal and political aspects that can affect government stability. This research aims to analyze the mechanism for dismissing the President as regulated in the 1945 Constitution and the challenges faced in its implementation. The research method used is normative legal research, which examines the provisions in the 1945 Constitution and other statutory regulations. The research results show that the inconsistency between the political decisions of the People's Representative Council (DPR) and the legal decisions of the Constitutional Court (MK) is caused by normative phrases in the Constitution that provide freedom in interpretation. Therefore, better coordination is needed between the DPR, MPR, and MK to ensure a transparent and accountable process. Hopefully, this research can positively contribute to strengthening the constitutional system and law enforcement in Indonesia.
Reynold SimandjuntakPia Bertha Sarumaha

This study aims to explore and analyze various Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods that can be used to resolve disputes in Indonesia, as well as to understand the effectiveness and challenges faced in their implementation. The research methods used include literature studies and normative legal research. The study's results indicate that methods such as mediation and arbitration offer more flexible and efficient solutions compared to formal justice, with mediation being more suitable for disputes involving ongoing relationships, while arbitration provides a binding and final decision. In addition, E-Dispute Resolution shows great potential in increasing the accessibility and efficiency of dispute resolution, although challenges related to data security and regulations still need to be addressed. This study recommends increasing education and training on ADRs and developing regulations that support the implementation of this method in Indonesia.
Reynold SimandjuntakRafael Singkay
