Abstract

The structural design of a parking building aims to achieve stability, strength, durability, and compliance with safety, economic, and construction efficiency aspects in accordance with the Indonesian National Standards (SNI). A hospital parking facility must meet vehicle load standards (SNI 1727:2020), accessibility requirements (Ministry of Public Works Regulation No.14/2017), and urban parking standards (SNI 7973:2013). The main structural elements, including columns, beams, and slabs, are designed based on the Strong Column–Weak Beam principle and earthquake resistance requirements (SNI 2847:2019). At GMIM Bethesda Hospital Tomohon, limited parking space has caused vehicle overflow to public roads, resulting in traffic congestion. With the growing number of patients and medical staff, the demand for a multi-story parking building has become urgent. An optimally designed parking facility is expected to provide sufficient capacity, efficient circulation, safety, and long-term maintenance to support the hospital’s operational services.
