Abstract

Clean water is a fundamental and essential need for human life, playing a vital role in supporting community health, hygiene, and domestic activities. This research aims to evaluate the constraints on the availability of clean water in the Blessing House Housing Complex, Pinaras Village, South Tomohon District, Tomohon City. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a field study approach. Data were obtained thru direct observation, interviews with residents of the housing complex, and the collection of secondary data from relevant agencies. The analysis was conducted to identify water sources, distribution systems, and factors influencing the availability of clean water at the research site. The research results show that the availability of clean water in the Blessing House Housing is still not optimal. The main constraints identified include low water source capacity, inadequate distribution infrastructure, and dependence on limited water sources. Additionally, the region's topography and increasing population have further exacerbated the condition of clean water scarcity. Recommended handling efforts include increasing the size of the storage tank and the dimensions of the distribution pipes to ensure the supply of clean water for the residents of the housing complex is met.
