Abstract

Papua Province is one of the provinces located in the eastern part of the map of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Among them are Jayawijaya Regency and also Lanny Ketimin Kogoya Jaya Regency, Tolikara Regency, Puncak Jaya Regency. Highways are one of the main factors of the problem where the roads that are built often experience damage because the roads are built without taking into account the flexural strength even to the point of being unfit for use by the community around Lanny Jaya Regency and other regencies. Tiom-Wamena Road is a type 1 lane 2-way collector road based on its status, Tiom-Wamena Road is a national road that plays an important role as a transportation infrastructure in regional development and its existence has a very strategic value, especially as the economic lifeblood of the community in Jayawijaya Regency-Lanny Jaya Regency Thus, it is necessary to make efforts to plan flexible hardening of highways that are efficient and effective so that the function of the road remains as it should and continues to be used by the community safely and comfortably.
