Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of academic supervision on student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic at Rex Mundi Catholic Senior High School Manado. This study is important because there is a change in the paradigm of thinking, methods and student learning outcomes. There is no denying that the pandemic situation has caused learning to shift from face-to-face to virtual or online. The research method to help achieve the objectives of this research is to use the X and Y variables test. First, the validity and reliability tests are carried out. In this section there is a normality test which aims to determine the sample data. As a test tool, the Kolmogrov Smirnov test version 25 was used through the SPSS for Windows program. Furthermore, from this data, a linearity test was carried out to determine the extent of the relationship between significant variables. In the T test, the data found that there was an effect of learning outcomes (Y) on academic supervision (X). The effectiveness of online learning is obtained by the R. Square coefficient of 0.295, which means that the influence of X contributes to Y as much as 29.5%. This T test aims to find out whether variable X has an effect on variable T during the Covid-19 period at Rex Mundi Catholic Senior High School Manado. The results showed that there was an effect of X on Y, meaning that academic supervision had an effect on student learning outcomes at Rex Mundi Catholic Senior High School Manado.
