GAMBARAN KONSEP DIRI REMAJA DARI KELUARGA BROKEN HOME DI DESA RERER KABUPATEN MINAHASA DAN DI KELURAHAN TALETE SATU KOTA TOMOHON

Abstract

This research aims to determine the description of self-concept which includes the dimensions of self-insight, self-understanding and self-hope of  adolescents from Broken Home families in Rerer Village, Minahasa Regency and in Talete Satu Village, Tomohon City. Qualitative research methodology is the methodology used by researchers in this research with the subject of   two late teenagers from Broken Home families. The sampling technique in this research used the Purposive Sampling technique. The research results obtained on the subject have a different self-concept picture from the two subjects, where subject P.L has a negative self-concept and is still in the process of moving in a good direction, while J.B Has a good picture which has long been positive. The results of the research that has been carried out are that there are differences in self-concept regarding the dimensions of self-insight, dimensions of self-understanding and dimensions of self-hope in subjects P.L and subjects J.B and have been strengthened by the dimensions of Calhoun and Acocella theory of self-concept
