Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Berbasis Praktikum Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Di SMA Negeri 2 Tondano

Belajar biologi bukan hanya mengingat dan menghafal saja, namun harus memahami konsep, memproses informasi dan menemukannya melalui suatu percobaan atau praktikum, sehingga dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan nyata di alam dan mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis praktikum terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XIII di SMA Negeri 2 Tondano tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuasi eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XII IPA 1 terdiri dari 21 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IPA 3 terdiri dari 21 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dengan instrument tes berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen = 82,38 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol = 72,14. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik uji-T pada taraf signifikan 0,05 dan diperoleh hasil t_hitung = 2,56 > t_tabel = 2,02 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbasis praktikum berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Learning biology is not just memorizing and memorizing, but must understand concepts, process information and find it through an experiment or practicum, so that it can solve real problems in nature and apply it in everyday life. This study aims to determine the effect of practical-based discovery learning on student learning outcomes in class XIII at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano in the academic year 2020/2021. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The sample used in this study was class XII IPA 1 consisting of 21 students as the experimental class and IPA 3 consisting of 21 students as the control class. The data collection technique used a learning outcome test with a test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate the average learning outcomes of the experimental class students = 82.38 while the average learning outcomes of the control class students = 72.14. The research data were analyzed using the T-test statistic at a significant level of 0.05 and the results obtained were tcount = 2.56> ttable = 2.02 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. From these results it can be concluded that the practicum-based Discovery Learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes.
