Efektivitas Perangkap Hama Kutu Daun Pada Pertanaman Stroberi (Fragaria Sp.) di Kelurahan Rurukan Satu, Kota Tomohon

Abstract

Strawberry aphids are important pest which potential to become spreading vector of several diseases of strawberry (Fragaria sp.). Eco-friendly methods to control the pest are hitherto poorly developed, so this research, therefore, has been conducted to learn the effectiveness of yellow, red, white, blue and green sticky trap to trap the pest. This research was carried out on a strawberry field in the urban-village of Rurukan Satu, City of Tomohon, which is one of the producing are of strawberry in North Sulawesi. By using Completely Randomised Design, twenty traps measuring 20 cm  30 cm was installed on field area of 7.5 m    5 m. Observations were done every week, where each of the trapped pest were counted and collected to be observed under the microscope. The result shows that one genus of aphid is found, which is the genus of Aphis. The most effective trap is the yellow traps which have significant mean of trapping the pests compared to the other four colours of trap.
