Abstract

Studi ini meneliti implementasi pendidikan multikultural di pusat-pusat pembelajaran Islam selama era Abbasiyah, dengan fokus pada interaksi sosial dan praktik pendidikan yang memfasilitasi pemahaman lintas budaya dan pertukaran pengetahuan. Melalui metodologi studi literatur kualitatif, dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber sejarah primer dan interpretasi ilmiah kontemporer, penelitian ini menyelidiki kerangka kelembagaan, pendekatan pedagogis, dan mekanisme sosial yang memungkinkan keberhasilan pendidikan multikultural. Temuan-temuan tersebut mengungkap struktur organisasi canggih yang mempromosikan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, metode pengajaran inovatif yang mengakomodasi beragam perspektif budaya, dan program integrasi sosial yang efektif. Lima elemen kunci muncul sebagai hal yang krusial bagi keberhasilan pendidikan multikultural: kerangka kelembagaan untuk integrasi, pendekatan pedagogis untuk pembelajaran lintas budaya, mekanisme integrasi sosial, kegiatan pertukaran pengetahuan, dan praktik penyelesaian konflik budaya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana lembaga pendidikan Abbasiyah berhasil menciptakan lingkungan yang mendorong pertumbuhan intelektual sambil mempromosikan pemahaman lintas budaya, menawarkan wawasan berharga untuk praktik pendidikan kontemporer dalam lingkungan multikultural.
