Membangun Kota Humanis: Perbandingan Taman Ramah Anak di Jakarta dan Taman Edukatif Bersejarah di Ambon

Abstract

Studi ini membandingkan dua model taman kota, yaitu Taman Ramah Anak di Jakarta dan Taman Edukatif Bersejarah di Ambon, dalam kerangka pembangunan kota humanis. Kota humanis adalah konsep perkotaan yang mengutamakan kesejahteraan sosial, keamanan, dan kenyamanan bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk anak-anak dan komunitas lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana kedua taman mengakomodasi kebutuhan pengunjung melalui analisis aspek desain, fungsi, dan nilai sosial yang terkandung di dalamnya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi langsung, wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan pengunjung serta pengelola taman, dan analisis dokumen kebijakan pengelolaan ruang publik. Taman Lapangan Banteng di Jakarta dikaji sebagai contoh taman ramah anak hasil revitalisasi yang menyediakan fasilitas bermain aman, edukatif, dan menarik. Sementara itu, Taman Museum Gong Perdamaian Dunia di Ambon diteliti sebagai taman edukatif bersejarah yang berfungsi sebagai ruang refleksi, rekreasi, dan interaksi sosial antar-generasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa taman di Jakarta menekankan aspek perkembangan anak dengan prioritas pada keamanan, kenyamanan, dan estetika, sedangkan taman di Ambon mengedepankan nilai historis dan sosial. Studi ini merekomendasikan integrasi konsep edukasi dan keamanan serta tata kelola berkelanjutan untuk memperkuat fungsi sosial dan budaya taman kota.
