Implementasi Baca Buku Bareng (BBB) Dalam Literasi Peserta di Komunitas Book Club Semarang

Rendahnya literasi di Indonesia telah menjadi permasalahan yang serius yang belum terselesaikan sampai sekarang. Pemerintah telah melaksanakan beberapa program sebagai usaha memaksimalkan literasi di Indonesia tetapi sayangnya hal tersebut belum memberikan perubahan yang signifikan. Kurang efektifnya program literasi dalam ruang lingkup formal memberikan tantangan baru terkait pelaksanaa program literasi di Indonesia. Komunitas sebagai praktik sosial dianggap sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah ini. Penelitian terkait implementasi program berbasis komunitas ini mendeskripsikan gambaran literasi sebagai praktik sosial peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data, hasil yang didapat adalah program BBB memperkuat kesadaran peserta dan memotivasi peserta untuk dapat membaca secara sukarela. Hasil penelitian yang dibuat penting dikarenakan sebagai kajian literature terbaru terkait implementasi program komunitasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya implementasi program komunitas yang berbasis terhadap kebutuhan peserta dapat memberikan praktik sosial literasi yang berkelanjutan. Hal ini memberikan model program literasi yang kontekstual dan aplikatif dalam masyarakat luas.
