General elections in Indonesia aim to elect members of representative institutions. In 2019, Indonesia held a simultaneous election which was held on April 17, 2019, the people not only chose the President and Vice President but also elected their legislative members. During this election period, the category of the novice voter group is interesting to study and observe further. Because seeing the novice voters are voters who will give their right to vote for the first time in the election. The objectives of this research are to find out: 1. How is the participation of novice voters in the 2019 general election in Watulambot Village, West Tondano District, Minahasa Regency? Watulambot, West Tondano District, Minahasa Regency? The method used in this study is a qualitative method described descriptively and the main data sources are novice voters, community leaders, political party administrators and KPPS heads in Watulambot Village, West Tondano District, Minahasa Regency. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that most of the novice voters in Watulamot Village, West Tondano District, Minahasa Regency have participated in the implementation of the general election. Community leaders and party officials have also participated in the activities of the general election and have invited novice voters to be involved as well
