This study aims to get an idea of how the role of the village government in tackling the problem of users of local liquor products, namely Cap Tikus, in the village of Makasili. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative research method. With data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation with the government, village officials and local communities in Makasili Village. Based on the results of the research conducted, the role of the village government in tackling the problem of liquor users so far can be concluded that the role of the government in Lolombulan Makasili village is tackling the problem of liquor being sold and consumed a lot by the local community, because the production is made by the community. lolombulan makasili itself. And also a result of agriculture from the local community. there are still many people who do not understand the dangers and negative impacts of excessive alcohol use.
