The problem of this research is about the role of Civics teachers in tackling juvenile delinquency, especially among students. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Civics teachers in tackling delinquency in schools. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative descriptive research is a type of qualitative research. This research is expected to be able to provide an overview or tell about the role of Civics teachers in tackling juvenile delinquency at SMA Negeri 1 Paguat. The conclusion of this study is that Civics teachers are good, but because there are still some children who violate school rules, teachers must maximize their roles and functions. as a Civics teacher who plays an important role. For this reason, cooperation between parents, parents and the school environment is especially important by Civics Teachers in dealing with juvenile delinquency, not only by teachers but by teachers, families and the school environment. For this reason, it is recommended that the existing Civics Teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Paguat must strive to carry out its roles and functions optimally in the prevention of juvenile delinquency in schools. Must be happy to always give motivation, direction, guidance, and habituation. Examples of examples, supervision, and emphasis on students so that they can become human beings who are capable of speech and behavior, in everyday life.
