Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's efforts in improving the disciplined character of students in Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Tomohon. This research method is qualitative research that is naturalistic in nature, namely qualitative research based on a naturalistic background. The results of the research carried out showed that the teacher's efforts in improving the disciplined character of students in Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Tomohon were as follows: Approaching personally through the discussion method, making peer tutor groups, home visits, and socializing, socialize (remind) the rules before starting the learning process, give rewards. Thus it can be concluded that of the five efforts above, making peer tutor groups is the effort that gets the best response.
