Planning a building structure requires safe, accurate and efficient planning. A structure
is expected to be able to withstand existing loads, such as dead loads, namely the weight
of the building itself, live loads and earthquake loads which always affect the behavior of
the building and are a top priority, especially in multi-storey buildings. With planning
that follows existing regulations, namely SNI 2847-2019 and SNI 1726-2019 by following
regulations or references, one method is used to withstand earthquake loads. The
structure that will be a priority for planning is a structure that is designed to be able to
withstand extreme loads, namely earthquake loads. The location of this building is
located in the boarding house building in Lorong 2 MEI Teling, Teling Atas, Kec. Wanea
Manado City, has 3 floors with a height of 9.6 meters with a width of 12.5 meters and a
length of 22.5 meters. In this plan, the SAP 2000 v22 application is used in modeling and
structural analysis. Based on the results of the analysis and design of the 3-floor boarding
house building in Upper Teling Manado City, there are differences between the research
data and the design results, namely the column with dimensions of 250 x 450 does not
comply with SNI regulations, but only in the column dimension with a weak axis, namely
250 mm and for beam dimensions of 250 x 350 in accordance with SNI regulations, beams
comply with SNI regulations.
