Abstract

The condition of the flexible pavement connecting the Panasen Village and Sumarayar Village,
where the condition of the damage to this section is not in a good condition because it has suffered a lot of
damage in the form of crocodile skin cracks, longitudinal/transverse cracks, edge cracks, holes and patches
with a length of 2, 58 km and a road width of 5m. Therefore, the damage that occurs on the road that
connects Panasen Village and Sumarayar Village is a very important problem and the losses are very high,
especially for new road users, such as long travel times, traffic accidents, and others.
This study aims to determine the condition of flexible pavement on the section that connects
Panasen Village and Sumarayar Village at this time. The method used for this research is the Pavement
Condition Index (PCI) which is used as an assessment of the level of damage to the flexural pavement.
From the analysis conducted on the condition of the pavement connecting Panasen Village and Sumarayar
Village, the damage was in the form of 36.7% crocodile skin cracks, 1.62% longitudinal/transverse cracks,
2.3% edge cracks, 49.91% holes and 6 patches. ,34%. In segment 1 38.2% (very bad), segment 2 74.5%
(good), segment 3 61% (good).
