Gaya Hidup Konsumtif pada Mayarakat Petani di Kelurahan Kawangkoan Bawah

Abstract

Most of the livelihoods of the people of the lower Kawangkoan village are farming. In this day and age, there is a big change in the behavior or lifestyle of the community, especially in the lower Kawangkoan village. Consumptive lifestyles in the lower Kawangkoan community are increasingly evident, from parents to children also apply consumptive lifestyles. The purpose of this research is so that researchers can be able to describe or describe the consumptive lifestyle of farming communities and can find out what factors cause farming communities to have a consumptive lifestyle or consumptive behavior. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This type of research uses primary data, researchers collect data by means of observation or observation, interviews, recordings and documentation. Based on the results of research in the field that has been done, it can be concluded that consumptive behavior in farmers can be classified, there are several factors that cause consumptive lifestyles and also the habits of post-harvest farming communities. Suggestions given by researchers are, learn to save for the future of the family, eliminate prestige in yourself, prioritize needs over desires and learn to refrain from buying goods without seeing the use value of these goods.
