PENGARUH POLA ASUH DEMOKRATIS ORANG TUA TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN REMAJA PADA SISWA SMP KATOLIK SANTO ANTONIUS MANADO

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of democratic parenting on student independence at Santo Antonius Catholic Junior High School Manado by using a quantitative simple random sampling method with a sample size of 140 which includes VII, VIII, and IX grade students at Santo Antonius Catholic Junior High School Manado. The results of the research on the effect of democratic parenting on independence are 19.9% and the remaining 80.1% is influenced by other factors. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the higher the democratic parenting, the higher the independence of students at Santo Antonius Catholic Junior High School Manado.
