Implementasi Pembelajaran STEM Terhadap Keterampilan Kolaborasi dan Hasil Belajar pada Materi Genetika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan pembelajaran STEM terhadap beberapa keterampilan abad 21, salah satunya yaitu keterampilan kolaborasi dan hasil belajar pada mahasiswa dalam pembahasan materi genetika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mix yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Responden yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa jenjang Strata 1, Jurusan Pendidikan IPA, Universitas Negeri Mahado, yang menempuh mata kuliah Biologi Umum 1. Pembelajaran STEM ini diberikan kepada 21 mahasiswa dengan topik bahasan materi genetika. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rerata mahasiswa memiliki keterampilan kolaborasi yang sangat baik dengan skor rerata 83,81% dan hasil belajar dengan kategori tinggi dengan nilai Ngain sebesar 0,82. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran STEM dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran genetika.
