Subjective well-being refers to an individual's subjective evaluation or assessment of their own life, comprising two components: the cognitive component, which includes life satisfaction and domain satisfaction, and the affective component, which encompasses positive and negative affects. Individuals with high subjective well-being experience life satisfaction, frequently feel joy, and seldom encounter unpleasant emotions such as sadness or anger. Conversely, individuals with low subjective well-being are dissatisfied with their lives, experience little joy and affection, and more frequently encounter negative emotions. This study aims to explore the characteristics and factors influencing subjective well-being in adolescents residing in the Nazaret orphanage in Tomohon. Employing a qualitative research method, this study involves two early adolescent subjects. The findings indicate that both subjects exhibit relatively positive levels of subjective well-being, with social support identified as the most influential factor
