Abstract

Audiovisual media allows students to see clearly so that it is easy to study material without thinking abstractly. This study aims to explain the procedure for developing audiovisual media using Tondano lake fauna objects in learning biodiversity and explain the feasibility of using audiovisual media development using Tondano lake fauna objects in biodiversity learning. This research is  development research with experimental subjects, namely material experts, media experts, biology teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Tompaso, and students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Tompaso with  total of 23 students. The object of this research is the biodiversity learning video by raising the fauna from Lake Tondano. The research technique was carried out with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The results showed that the product assessment in terms of the material was 85.2% and the product assessment in terms of media was 88%, the product assessment according to the biology teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Tompaso was 92%, and the results of the evaluation according to class XI MIPA 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Tompaso were 83%.
