Abstract

This study refers to the effect of family social support on Juvenile Delinquency behavior at SMK Kristen 1 Tomohon. This study used quantitative methods with a total of 146 subjects which included grade XI students at SMK Kristen 1 Tomohn. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family social support on the Juvenile Delinquenc behavior of students at SMK Kristen 1 Tomohon. The results showed a constan value of 316.203 on the value of the family social support variable (X) and the Juvenile Delinquency variable (Y) for the value of the regeneration coefficient of -1.271 with a significance of 0.000 < from a probability of 0.05. This showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between family social support and students' Juvenile Delinquency behavior, and the large influence on this study with an r square value of 0.387. This value means that the effect of family social support on Juvenile Delinquency behavior is   38.7% and the remaining 61.3% is influenced by other factors.  The higher the family's social support, the lower the Juvenile Delinquency behavior of students at SMK Kristen 1 Tomohon.
