HUBUNGAN INTERASI SOSIAL DENGAN KOHESIVITAS KELOMPOK PADA PENGURUS HMAPSI JPPB FIPP UNIMA PERIODE 2022-2023

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between social interaction and group cohesiveness in the Student Association Management of the Psychology Study Program, Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance, Manado State University for the 2022-2023 period. The method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational method, as well as sampling using a saturated sampling technique. The subjects of this research were HIMAPSI JPPB FIPP UNIMA administrators for the 2022-2023 period, with a total of 45 respondents. The tool used to measure this research data is a psychological scale, namely the social interaction scale according to Soekanto and the group cohesiveness scale according to Forsyth which has been modified from previous research, Fabli, I. (2022). The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between social interaction and group cohesiveness among HIMAPSI FIPP UNIMA administrators. This means that the higher the level of social interaction, the higher the level of group cohesiveness, and conversely, the lower the level of social interaction, the lower the group cohesiveness of the HIMAPSI JPPB FIPP UNIMA management for the 2022-2023 period
