About the Journal

GEOGRAPHIA: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Penelitian Geografi [ISSN: 2774-6968] is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Geography Education, Universitas Negeri Manado, in collaboration with Ikatan Geograf Indonesia (IGI). Published twice a year (June and December), the journal disseminates research-based empirical studies and literature reviews in Geography Education and Geographical Studies, including physical and human geography, GIS and remote sensing, spatial analysis, environmental studies, and urban and regional development. Manuscripts are accepted in Indonesian or English and undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

 

To improve editorial management and publication services, GEOGRAPHIA has migrated from:

Former Website

to

New Website

https://ejournalfish.unima.ac.id/index.php/geographia

 

Starting from Volume 7, Issue 1 (2026), all submissions, peer review, revisions, and publications are managed through the new website.

 

All volumes and issues published before Volume 7, Issue 1 (2026) remain available on the former website. As part of digital archive preservation, Volume 6, Issue 2 (2025) is also available on the new website as a backup record, while the original record remains on the former website.

 

Authors who previously submitted manuscripts via the former website are kindly requested to resubmit them through the new website. Manuscripts currently under review or revision may continue the revision process according to the previous editorial decision. To avoid duplication of the editorial process, authors are requested to contact the Editorial Office before resubmission.

 

Authors, reviewers, and users registered on the former website are required to create a new account on the new website, as user accounts are not migrated automatically.

 

This migration does not affect previously published articles, registered DOIs, journal accreditation status, or archived issues.
