Peer Review Process

MARISEKOLA: Jurnal Matematika Riset Edukasi dan Kolaborasi is a peer-reviewed scientific journal with the following provisions:

  1. Accepted articles have been approved by the editorial team and have never been published in other scientific journals.
  2. Articles that meet the journal's criteria will then be reviewed by reviewers who have competence in their field.
  3. The review process uses Double Blind Review, meaning that the reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewer.
  4. Articles that have been reviewed will be decided on their continuation according to the reviewer's recommendations based on policy: accepted/accepted with few revisions/accepted with many revisions/rejected.
  5. The review results from the reviewers are received by the editorial team to be studied and submitted to the author.
  6. The author revises the article according to suggestions and input from reviewers. Once completed, the author sends the revised results to the editorial team.
  7. The editorial team receives the revised results and checks for similarities or elements of plagiarism. If the similarity results are large enough, the article is returned to the author for further revision. Once finished, the author can send the revised article back to the editorial team.
  8. The editorial team checks whether the revisions sent by the author are correct or not. Next, the editorial team will make the final decision on whether the article is accepted or rejected.
  9. The editor in chief together with the editorial team will process the articles received to proceed to the editing and publishing stages.
