Peer Review Process
The publication of articles in Bloom Journal is solely based on the scientific validity and coherence of the content, as assessed by our editors and/or peer reviewers. They will evaluate whether the article is clearly written and if it contributes meaningfully to the field of study. Bloom Journal appreciates the efforts and suggestions provided by its reviewers.
Initial Manuscript Evaluation
The editor will initially assess all submitted manuscripts within 14 days. While rare, an exceptional manuscript may be accepted at this stage. Manuscripts that are rejected at this stage may lack originality, contain significant scientific flaws, or fall outside the scope of Bloom Journal. Manuscripts that meet the basic criteria will be forwarded to expert reviewers for further evaluation, a process that usually takes 14-30 days.
Type of Peer Review
Manuscripts will typically be reviewed by subject-matter experts, who will evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically valid and cohesive, if it duplicates existing work, and whether it is clear enough for publication. The review process follows a double-blind peer review method.
Review Reports
Reviewers will assess whether the manuscript:
-
Clearly defines its objectives and identifies gaps in the literature.
-
Demonstrates sound methodology.
-
Adheres to ethical guidelines.
-
Presents results/findings that are clear and support the conclusions.
-
Appropriately references previous relevant work.
Reviewers are not expected to correct or edit the language of the manuscript. Language corrections are not part of the peer review process.
Decision
Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editor will make the final decision to accept or reject the article. Editors may consult with members of the Editorial Board if necessary. The editor’s decision is final, and the process usually takes 30-60 days.
