PENERAPAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of GMIM VIII Elementary School Tomohon through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Model. This study was conducted using a form of classroom action research that refers to the research design proposed by Kemmis and Mc.Taggart with the stages of planning, action, observation, reflection. The percentage of learning completion, then the criteria and measures of success of learning completion, namely each student completes their learning if the proportion of students' correct answers is (greater than or equal to) 75% then a class can be said to have completed learning. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the contextual teaching and learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of GMIM VIII Elementary School Tomohon. The results of the first cycle test showed that the classical learning completion of students was 59.25%. The number of respondents who have achieved learning completion is 1 student, and 14 students who have not achieved learning completion, with the highest score of 65 and the lowest score of 35, and in cycle II the classical learning completion achieved by students increased, namely 91.29% and all students have completed learning, with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 80. Based on the results obtained by students during the evaluation, it can be concluded that through the learning model, it can improve the learning outcomes of social studies students in contextual teaching and learning class IV Elementary Schools
